How many of you have managed to keep your New Year’s resolutions going into February? The promises of going to the gym every night after work might have lasted the first few weeks of 2013, but by now you’re maybe more likely to just head home to a hot date with your sofa.

The average person gives up on their resolutions just 5 weeks into the New Year, so if you’re struggling then it’s not just you that’s found your living room more appealing then the gym once now January’s over.

However February is National Heart Month, which acts as a reminder of just how important it is to take care of your health, particularly through exercise.

Heart disease kills more people in the UK per year than anything else, but it can be prevented. With the right lifestyle choices you can keep your heart healthy – and the sooner you start the better!
