Tropical Fruit Boost Smoothie Recipe
Nothing says summer quite like a refreshing fruit smoothie packed full of goodness – that’s why we’ve brought you a tropical-inspired recipe straight from Ragdale’s kitchen, to help nourish your soul. Simply place the ingredients in a blender, then whizz together until smooth. Then, close your eyes as the fruity flavours transport you back to Ragdale, sunbathing on a lounger next to the Outdoor Pool. Bliss!
- 1 mango, peeled, pitted and chopped
- 1 papaya, peeled, deseeded and chopped
- Half a pineapple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 2 kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped
- 1 heaped tsp wheatgrass powder (available from a health food shop)
If you’re feeling adventurous, why not make our smoothie into a delicious breakfast bowl? After you’ve blended your ingredients together, pour into a bowl and then add your chosen toppings – we suggest chopped banana, blueberries, chia seeds and some granola for a slow release of energy throughout the day. This is also the perfect recipe to enjoy as a pre-workout snack, as the naturally occurring sugars will give you a much-needed boost of energy.
