Aqua Yoga 01This week is Water for Health week at Ragdale Hall, and to celebrate we’ll be running a whole series of events to show you that there are many health benefits associated with water – it’s not just about drinking it!

Water is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle and we all know just how important it is to drink a certain amount of it every day. Water can also aid you if you are trying to lose weight. Drinking water can help you to avoid snacking by filling you up – being properly hydrated speeds up your metabolism and keeps you healthy by flushing out toxins from your body.

As part of our week of events we will be looking further into the benefits of drinking more water and identifying good sources of water in our diet to help you lose weight.

We will also be showing you some aqua exercises, with a swimming clinic and other aqua classes providing a fun and effective way to exercise. Exercising in water is a great way to burn calories and build up cardio endurance – it even has less impact on the muscles than regular exercise, leaving you with less aches and pains.

Water is also great for relaxation, as you’ll be able to discover at our Thermal Spa. We will have many unique water and heat experiences throughout the week including guided meditation in our Candle Pool, which is guaranteed to leave you feeling completely de-stressed.

The final part of the week will focus on the benefits of keeping your skin hydrated. Our Clarins experts will introduce you to their Hydra Quench range, which is designed to put moisture back into dry and dehydrated skin.

As well as all the special events for the week you will be able to enjoy a variety of mini treatments in the beauty shop and book any of our full range of treatments.
