Dean Hodgkin

Having joined the company as a part-time tennis coach way back in 1990, Dean rose through the ranks moving to Fitness Manager then Business Development Manager. He now fulfils a part-time consultancy role, playing a part within the Senior Management Team alongside the Directors.

Outside of the Hall he is recognised as an authority in the area of health and fitness, having appeared at both trade and consumer events in 36 countries, authored two books, written tomes of newspaper and magazine articles and with a long list of TV and radio broadcasts under his belt. He works with a number of companies in the sector, predominantly in a training role, but also in systems management where his keen eye for detail is a useful attribute. Clients include RAC, Remington, Marks and Spencer, Nike, 3 Mobile and Energie Group.

Dean is currently Global Ambassador for PT on the Net, the worlds leading educational resource for fitness instructors, personal trainers and health club managers in addition to which he writes for the prestigious Huffington Post. He was voted Best International Presenter at the One Body One World awards in New York and received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Fitness Showcase, Europe’s largest group fitness event.

Whilst not involved in the Hall’s fitness department on a day-to-day basis, he helps to steer the strategy and assists in training of the team. More widely, he is a driving force behind the company’s customer service initiatives and as a qualified health and safety expert, manages this across all departments.
