With royal wedding fever sweeping the nation, you can imagine our excitement when Pilates recently hit the headlines for being a long-time love of bride-to-be, Meghan Markle!
Whether you’re a beginner, regularly practice Pilates or would just like to try something new, our Pilates Breaks really concentrate on bringing out the healthiest version of you – whether you have plans to walk down the aisle or not!
On our next Pilates Break (Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th April), you’ll join a small select group of like-minded individuals for a two-night break at Ragdale Hall Spa – led by experienced teacher, Sheila Done.
What to expect at Ragdale:
Modern Pilates is a contemporary and updated approach to Pilates exercise and a method of exercise that will condition and tone the body by working the muscles from the inside out, creating a stronger, flatter mid-section, improved posture and muscle balance, realigning the spine and improving both the function and appearance of the body.
It is very relaxing and stress relieving and really reduces tension, particularly in the neck and shoulders. Modern Pilates is suitable for those recovering from back problems to runners, exercise enthusiasts or dancers keen to benefit from increased flexibility and core stability.
Sheila will tailor the sessions and use different equipment according to suitability for the group, dependent on experience and ability.
Kick-starting with a welcome opening session, on this two-night Pilates Break you’ll experience four varied Pilates sessions, enjoy a talk or Pilates Stretch session each evening and indulge in a choice of two 25-minute treatments during your stay.
All meals are inclusive, including a three-course buffet lunch and three-course dinner, with breakfast served to your room or the Verandah Bar. And on your downtime, you can make the most of all Ragdale’s award-winning spa facilities, from the multi-million-pound Thermal Spa to our NEW Rooftop Infinity Pool! Now that is the royal treatment!
