Banana and berry crumble in three easy steps

There’s nothing quite like tucking into a delicious homemade crumble after a traditional Sunday roast. Our banana and berry crumble is a tried and tested crowd-pleaser and sure to go down a treat with the whole family.

Ragdale’s banana and berry crumble

Ingredients

100g ripe bananas, sliced

400g frozen mixed berries

60g golden caster sugar or honey

55g butter

90g plain flour

½ tsp ground cinnamon

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C. Put the berries and banana into a bowl, sprinkle over half the sugar/honey and mix. Put into an ovenproof dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, rub the butter into the flour, squashing it together to form a few clumps. Stir through the rest of the sugar and the cinnamon.
  3. Spoon the crumble mixture over the berry and banana mix and bake for 25 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
