Energising winter warmer shot recipe

Give your immune system a boost this cold and flu season with our quick and easy grapefruit, orange ginger shot. Packed full of vitamin C and antioxidants, our winter warmer is perfect for giving you an instant energy kick and getting your metabolism going. Enjoy in a small shot glass first thing in the morning!

Winter Warmer shot

Ingredients

  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 orange
  • 30g ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 250ml water

Serves 8 in small shot glasses.

Method

  • Peel your grapefruit and orange and chop it roughly. Peel and roughly chop the ginger.
  • Add all ingredients into a blender and add your turmeric and water.
  • Blend for at least one minute until smooth.
  • Fill into a bottle and keep refrigerated for up to one week.

Enjoy!

 

If you don’t have a blender, replace your grapefruit, orange and water with 100ml grapefruit juice and 150ml orange juice. Grate your ginger using a zester and add all your ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake well.
