Ragdale’s Seasonal Focus for 2026: A Year of Awakening, Thriving, Adventure and Rest

During this season at the Hall, workshops on mindset, numerology, and oracle cards guide you to curate your vision for the year ahead, while gentle breathwork, chanting, and guided meditation sessions help bring your vision to life.

Warm, cleansing waters clear your mind and release stagnant energy, while vast views of the surrounding countryside ground you firmly in the present moment. During the season of Awakening, embrace intention, restoration, and gentle transformation.

Mindful movement comes in the form of morning flows and slow stretch classes, brightening facials breathe new life into your complexion, and full-body massages calm both body and mind, allowing you to begin the year on a balanced note.

As winter settles in and temperatures drop throughout January and February, we recommend treatments that focus on the face, the one part of us continually exposed to the elements. With the ELEMIS Expert Touch Facial, advanced formulas prepare the skin, enhance absorption, and deliver visible anti-ageing results. Combining proven actives with skin-lifting massage, this bespoke treatment leaves your complexion refreshed and renewed.

As the season of Awakening draws to a close, you leave feeling aligned, replenished, and ready to move forward with clarity and calm. A gentle beginning, setting the tone for the year ahead and the seasons yet to unfold at Ragdale.

If you’re looking to visit and experience our seasonal wellness offering, why not feel restored with our Awakening Day Package? Thoughtfully curated to reflect the spirit of the season, it offers the perfect opportunity to pause, reset, and renew.

Story behind the artwork  ‘Awakening’

To create the perfect visual for the first season of the year, we once again invited Deborah Panesar to design an artwork that reflects our seasonal offering.

Snowdrops, the signature flower of winter, form the heart of the piece, bringing a cool, clean white palette. Some remain in bud while others are in full bloom, mirroring the transition from the old year into the new and reflecting the gentle awakening as we begin to stir and reset.

Deborah explains, “I wanted the text to interact with the design, so I used the flowing lines of the ‘g’ to organically move into a circular frame that features winter aconites.” Winter aconites add warmth and optimism, reflecting the Thermal Spa and heated pools, creating a balance between the coolness of winter and comforting warmth.

Features Highlighted

  • The cool white of snowdrops: tranquillity, cleansing, clarity.

  • The warm yellows and purples of winter aconites: energy, warmth, rejuvenation.

  • Circular flow: continuity, gentle guidance, restorative experience.

What to Expect for the Rest of the Year:

  • March to May | Thrive

  • June to August | Adventure

  • September to November | Rest
