Essential Information

All bookings must be secured with a deposit. Confirmation of your booking along with additional pre-arrival information and directions to Ragdale Hall will be sent upon receipt of the required deposit.

Residential stays require an initial deposit of £50 per person per night. Overseas and third party reservations require a deposit of 100% of the total inclusive cost of the stay.

If arriving within 30 days of booking, you will be required to present the same card and settle the balance of the total cost of the break via chip and pin on arrival. In the event of an unsecured reservation the full price of the inclusive cost of the stay will be payable.

All Spa Day bookings require full pre-payment as deposit.

Deposit payments can be made by Bacs, Mastercard, Visa or Ragdale Hall Gift Voucher (for further information on Ragdale Hall Gift Vouchers please call 01664 434831).

We strongly recommend you consider purchasing holiday insurance for residential spa breaks which among other things provides cover in the event of a cancellation or curtailment.

The information contained within all our pre-booking and confirmation literature forms the basis of our terms and conditions of booking.  All bookings are subject to Terms and Conditions which you can view here – Booking Conditions.  This constitutes a contract between Ragdale Hall (1990) Ltd and all guests booked as part of an individual reservation.

For spa breaks, arrival times are allocated between 3.00pm and 4.00pm. Unless specified otherwise, arrival is not permitted before 3.00 pm. In the event of early arrival, a surcharge of £75.00 will be levied. Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.30 am and depart by 2.00 pm. Failure to do so may result in a day’s surcharge being levied. Your exact arrival time will be indicated on your confirmation letter. Please allow time for registration and to settle into your room as treatments may commence at 4.30pm.

On most Spa Day packages guests should arrive between 8.30am and 9.00am, however guests on the Ragdale Experience Day should arrive at 10.30am, Late Escape at 11.00am, Twilight Taster at 4.30pm and Evening Spa Experience at 6.00pm.

On spa breaks, lunch is included on the day of departure. You will be required to vacate your room by 10.30am so it may be prepared for arriving guests. Changing room facilities and lockers are available until departure at 2.00pm (11.00am for the Day Guest Overnight package). The Overnight Reviver Break departure time is 6.00pm. On most Spa Day packages guests should depart between 5.30pm and 6.00pm, however on the Ragdale Experience Day departure is at 6.30pm, Late Escape is 8.30pm and both the Twilight Taster and Evening Spa Experience are 9.30pm.

If you have had, or are suffering from, ill health, severe allergies or a particular medical condition, we strongly advise you to speak with your doctor prior to arrival to satisfy yourself that you can make full use of all our services and facilities. In some instances we may require written confirmation from your doctor.

We offer a full range of treatments from the major skincare companies: Clarins, Decleor, ELEMIS and Sea Magik Pro, plus a wide array of traditional treatments, natural therapies and some treatments exclusively available at Ragdale Hall.

To avoid disappointment, inclusive choices and extra treatments and activities must be pre-booked as soon as you’ve confirmed your reservation. All treatments are subject to availability and will be confirmed on arrival.

Whatever the reason for your visit you need not pack a large suitcase; we cultivate an atmosphere of relaxed informality and guests tend to wear tracksuits, robes and informal leisurewear at all times. For hygiene and safety reasons, we respectfully request that footwear be worn at all times (outside of the spa area). Ragdale flip flops are provided on all residential breaks and a selection of mules and other footwear is available to purchase from our Boutique.

While smokers are welcome at Ragdale, smoking and the use of e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is prohibited in all areas of the building including bedroom balconies and immediately outside doors leading out of the building. The only place where smoking is permitted is the Smokers Gazebo situated in the gardens near the Verandah Terrace. We reserve the right to ask those not abiding by this rule to leave the Hall.

The use of mobile phones for making or receiving calls and the use of laptops is restricted to bedrooms.

The minimum guest age is 16. To maintain the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere we respectfully request that you do not bring young children with you when you arrive or depart. We are unable to allow pets on the premises.

All prices shown are per person (unless otherwise stated) and inclusive of VAT. Prices and packages may be subject to alteration. Whilst our services, facilities, treatments and packages are normally available to you 365 days a year, they may be subject to change or withdrawal without prior notice.

Ragdale Hall Spa is a now cashless. We Accept Visa and Mastercard Debit & Credit cards. Please ensure you have a suitable method of payment with you.
