Winter wellness smoothie

Apple, cinnamon and peanut smoothie

 

 

It’s so important to be kind to yourself, and to give our immune system a boost, especially in the winter months. We’ve brought you a delicious smoothie recipe full of goodness from our very own recipe book – perfect if you’re in need of a much-needed winter pick-me-up!

 

Serves two

INGREDIENTS

2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped

1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped

2 bananas

300ml (1/2 pint) orange juice

1 tbsp peanut butter

100g (4oz) low fat natural yoghurt

½ tsp ground cinnamon

 

METHOD

Place all ingredients in a blender, then whizz together until smooth for a fabulous, healthy drink that will leave you feeling energised and ready to take on the day.
