Housekeeping General Assistant – 31 hours per week

Salary:

£8.66 per hour age 21 and above and £8.03 per hour age 18-20.

Hours of work:

31 hours per week worked on a rota basis between the hours of 7.00am and 10.00pm including alternate weekends. Typical shifts could be; 7am – 2pm, 10.15am – 7.15pm, 1.30pm – 10pm, 4pm – 9/10pm.

About this position:

This is a varied and interesting job working within our Housekeeping Department who play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are kept to the very high standards expected by our guests.

Your primary role will be to assist wherever necessary within the department so you will be required to have a good knowledge of all housekeeping roles including cleaning bedrooms, using all laundry equipment, cleaning and preparing service rooms, cleaning beauty treatment cubicles and all other public areas of the building.

In addition, you will assist the Housekeepers with dealing with guest requests, putting luxury items into the correct bedrooms, dealing with breakfast paperwork and any other requests that may arise.

Qualifications and skills required:

We’re looking for a friendly, hard-working individual who has masses of enthusiasm and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service even at the busiest times.

Any cleaning experience would be an advantage but not essential.
