Our wide range of impressive facilities and comprehensive class timetable ensure we have something for everyone, whatever your tastes and current fitness level. From the gentle mind-body formats through to the pulsating dance sessions, you're sure to find a theme you'll enjoy at an intensity you can manage.

With the inviting atmosphere of our extensively equipped gymnasium, the cutting edge design of our mood - enhancing studios and well qualified Instructors who are trained to enlighten, educate and motivate, we guarantee to put the fun back into fitness. Whether looking for a kick-start or some unique advice to take the boredom out of your current regime, feel free to talk to the Instructors in the gymnasium, and they will steer you closer to your goals.

If you're looking to run a half marathon, shed some excess baggage before your holiday or simply feel re-energised, we'll ensure you leave with sweat on your brow and a smile on your face.

We have classes in four distinct areas, the exercise pool* (for water classes and the aquagym) Studio One, Studio Two and the beautiful landscape grounds. In addition, fitness enthusiasts can get a great workout by using the gymnasium or taking part in outdoor activities, individually or in groups. Fitness Breaks

Ragdale Hall is the venue for Fitness Breaks and if you're looking for something that will help you kick-start a healthier regime, perfect your skills or learn something new, then look no further.  With pilates, dance and running being just a few of the subjects for you to choose from and with classes structured to cater for all ability and fitness levels, our versatile range of fitness holidays will have something just for you. 

All fitness breaks include the usual pampering spa treatments, delicious healthy cuisine and use of all other facilities.

Fitness Classes

Classes that we run include Pilates, Fitness Yoga, Tai Chi and Aerobics. All classes are graded according to levels of fitness, e.g. Advanced, Beginners or General.

A typical day would include:

Studio One
Legs, Bums and Tums, Aerobic Fat Burner, Fitness Yoga, Pilates and Candlelight Stretch.

Studio Two
Tai Chi, Indoor Cycling, Time to Unwind and Tai Chi Sword.

Exercise Pool*
HIIT the Water, Cardio Waves, Aquaflow, Aquaflex, Aquagym

Mind Gym

Take your total well-being to a new level in our Mind Gym, located just outside the spa area.

Lose yourself for a while in concentrated thought, challenge your problem-solving skills and flex your brain cells with a wide range of space-age toys, puzzles and books to test your logic.

A go on the Mind-Ball, a state-of-the-art game-table that allows you to move a ball by simply controlling your thoughts, is a must.
