‘Excellent’ says Trip Advisor

We never take our awards for granted so once again we’re extremely pleased, and very proud, to have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Trip Advisor for the seventh consecutive year! (That’s every year since the Certificate of Excellence was launched.)

Trip Advisor is the world’s largest travel review website, and the Certificate of Excellence recognises the positive experiences our guests have with us.

As one of the UK’s leading spas, we are well-known for having some of the best spa facilities in the country, but the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence focuses on the experience of you, our guests, because it’s based on your feedback and reviews.

In 2015 we were one of the first businesses to be inducted into Trip Advisor’s inaugural Hall of Fame as we’d  then received  the Certificate of Excellence five years in a row.  The Certificate of Excellence, launched in 2010, is awarded to organisations based on feedback made by their guests on Trip Advisor, recognising review ratings, overall rating and quantity of reviews. Organisations receiving the Certificate of Excellence demonstrate ‘hospitality excellence’ and represent the ‘upper echelon’ of businesses listed on the site – and we’re very proud of that.

One guest recently posted: ‘A superb ‘get away from it all’ place. Peaceful atmosphere. Staff go out of their way to ensure stay is 1st class. Lovely country setting & grounds, great facilities whether you want to be active (gym, large pool, thermal spa, tennis courts) or not (various different lounges, veranda etc.). Breakfast in well appointed rooms. Good (often locally sourced) food. Wide choice of treatments. Highly recommended. (Infinity pool to open later in year).’
