Up and down the country, fitness centres’ numbers are buoyed as January rolls around.

For many, over indulgence during the festive period serves to inspire the desire to swap turkey for the treadmill – but the initial enthusiasm for sticking to your resolution, losing weight and getting in shape can wane quickly if the fitness regime lacks diversity and results aren’t immediate.

But variety has never been a problem here at Ragdale Hall.

Regardless of your prior experience, our fitness breaks offer a range of different classes designed to keep you in shape. They include:

  • Pilates
  • Fitness Yoga
  • Tai Chi
  • Dance Fitness
  • Aerobics

And these are just a few of the reasons New! Magazine recently awarded us the title of ‘Best For Fitness Fans’ in their Spa Awards.

In addition to these, we’re incorporating a couple of exciting new classes into our schedule this year.

Enjoy a mentally invigorating session designed to work your core as we introduce BEAMING. Its name derives from the key elements of the programme: Balance, Experience, Activity and Motivation, which will change your attitude towards fitness forever.

Alongside BEAMING, we’ll soon be offering Barre Training which is fast becoming a celebrity favourite. It combines Pilates, ballet, yoga and sports conditioning to form a session aimed at building stamina and endurance whilst increasing flexibility and slimming down the waistline.

Of course, over the years, we’ve witnessed most of the latest exercise fads come and go – and with a host of new fitness crazes such as SH’BAM, Ugi and Core-Tex tipped to take the country by storm, only time will tell if they are to follow the same fate.

If you feel you would benefit from a fitness MOT in the New Year, get in touch with us here at Ragdale Hall today.
