Your organisation could win a share of £10,000 as Ragdale Hall and the Melton Times launch Make It Happen for the seventh successive year.
The community chest recently opened and once again we are inviting community and voluntary groups and sports clubs to bid for a slice of the cash. Grants made are typically in the region of £200 to £1,000.
To date Ragdale Hall’s Make It Happen has handed out more than £62,000 to 131 projects since its inception in 2005, giving thousands of people in the borough an early Christmas present.
David Hamdorff, managing director of Ragdale Hall Health Hydro and Thermal Spa, said: “Make It Happen campaign has become an important part of our involvement with the local community. Most of our 500 employees come from the local area and a large proportion of our customers so it is great to be able to give something back to the community at large.
“It has also been exciting to see the good work that has been done with donations from the scheme over the years and we enjoy reading about these initiatives in the Melton Times.”
Editor Michael Cooke added: “As in previous years we have made it incredibly easy for you to enter with one simple coupon to fill out and we will feature all the applicants and their projects over the coming weeks.
The closing date for entries is Monday, November 7. A presentation evening will be held at Ragdale Hall on Thursday 1st December.
Send your entries* to Make It Happen, Melton Times, 49 Nottingham Street, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1NT or email full details to firstname.lastname@example.org
