Ragdale Hall has a reputation as the go-to destination for wonderfully relaxing breaks, with top-notch treatments, fabulous fitness facilities and utterly delicious food prepared by a dedicated team of chefs.
With health and well-being in mind, Ragdale is offering a unique opportunity to combine time at the Hall with learning more about Ragdale’s approach to healthy eating with a two night Foodie Lover’s Break. During the break you can discover more techniques to help you towards eating well, every day, to benefit your body now and in the future – combined with all the pleasures of visiting Ragdale Hall.
Hosted by Sue Ashworth, well known and highly experienced specialist food writer for the health industry and co-editor of Ragdale’s own cookbook Ragdale Hall Healthy Food, Tasting Good with David Ross, Executive Head Chef.
Sue is a member of the Guild of Food Writers, consultant cookery writer to Public Health England, and author of many Weight Watchers titles (and a frequent guest of Ragdale!). She has known, respected and worked with David for many years (including the collaboration on the book) and has enjoyed his innovative style of cooking as a guest on many occasions!
David has been at Ragdale Hall for over ten years (the last two as Executive Head Chef) and heads up a team of 17 in the kitchen. David takes great pride in the cuisine here and spends a considerable part of his time outside work ‘researching’ other restaurants and trying different styles of cooking.
Both are passionately committed to bringing healthy, great tasting food to our guests.
The two night break includes interesting and varied workshops, talks and demonstrations, the opportunity to have a guided tour of Ragdale’s kitchens with David, a choice of pampering treatments, all meals and use of all Ragdale Hall’s usual services and facilities including fitness classes and the spa area.
