Our fitness classes are going high tech!

When taking part in any of our high intensity fitness classes, we’ll be offering you the opportunity to exercise with the amazing MYZONE tracking device which is being dubbed as the Facebook for fitness activity.  The device helps keep you motivated by offering an accurate recording of your effort levels through heart rate monitoring technology.  It’s no secret that the more effort you put in, the better the results achieved.  And like social media, you’ll be able to keep an eye on what the other MYZONE users are up to, creating a little healthy competition amongst you and others in the class, spurring you on to push yourself even more!

MYZONE which was recently featured on the Gadget Show, provides real-time feedback on what effort zone you’re in, based on calories burned, heart rate and activity time.  The results are shown on a huge screen in the studio which means you can keep a watchful eye on it to ensure you’re working at the right intensity at the right time, so you can ensure that every workout is guaranteed to give you results.

Of course, this means our instructor can also see how hard you’re working!  No longer can you secretly ease off while wearing a false grimace!  If you’re slacking, the Fitness Team will be there to lift you and get you back on track.

Instead of simply counting strides or time you’ll be able to see exactly how much work you’ve put in, so you can make the aim of each session beating your own past efforts.  This way you can be sure that every time you enter our studios, you will be taking another step on the journey to your weight loss and fitness goals.

If you have already had the chance to use MYZONE in one of our fitness classes or elsewhere, we’d love some feedback!

Woohoo! I love Myzone. We use it in our local gym. It’s great to see your progress and everyone always pushes themselves further in a class. My husband and I like to set monthly challenges to see who can get the most MEPS. We will make sure to bring our belts when we come visit on the 2nd/3rd June. 🙂
