Mindful Martial Arts Break
Thursday 18th – Saturday 20th June 2020
New for 2020 is the ancient martial art of Tai Chi, which offers the ultimate antidote to the vagaries of life in the 21st century, allowing you to refocus your mind and restore your body. Featuring unique classes this is the perfect opportunity to disconnect from your daily routine and enjoy the many health benefits that can be derived from meditation in motion.
Thursday 17th – Saturday 19th September 2020
Whether you’d like to aim for next year’s marathon or would like to take on your first 5k, our Running Break will set you off on the right foot.
This break will be led by Michelle Read, an experienced fitness instructor, personal trainer and running enthusiast with more than 20 marathons to her name!
Real Life Yoga Breaks
Sunday 9th – Tuesday 11th February – beginners level

Thursday 3rd – Saturday 5th September 2020 – finding your flow
Join Meg, founder of Real Life Yoga for a totally un-scary introduction to yoga; learning how even the un-bendiest of bodies can build a practice, and all the positive benefits this ancient way-of-living can have for our crazy modern lives. Together we’ll learn poses and practices to help you feel all kinds of brilliant, and equip you with tools and knowledge so that you can feel confident continuing your yoga journey at home or in a class. We’ll also be busting some myths about what yoga is and what it isn’t and sending you back out into real life with a fantastic foundation from which you can keep on learning.
These sessions will be a combination of learning some basic asana (the moving and bending of bodies) and slowly building up to a simple-but-ohso-effective flowing vinyasa practice, as well as introductions to basic meditation and mindfulness techniques.
Sunday 1st – Tuesday 3rd March 2020 – Beginners Pilates (ideal for those wishing to start their Pilates journey)
Thursday 2nd – Saturday 4th July 2020 – Mindful Pilates
Sunday 27th September – Tuesday 29th September 2020 – Active Pilates led by Cherry Baker*
We welcome you to join a small select group for a two-night Pilates Break at Ragdale Hall Spa, led by one of our experienced teachers including renowned Pilates industry expert, Cherry Baker.
Whether you are a beginner, regularly practice Pilates or have attended a Pilates Break at Ragdale before, we will guide you through a number of sessions to help you improve your technique and posture and learn more about the amazing health and wellbeing benefits of this form of exercise.
