Our recent DANCERCISE event proved a massive success with the lucky guests who attended this first-of-a-kind special break, as they mambo’d, jived and belly danced their way through a jam-packed timetable of themed classes. Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what some of them had to say –
‘The whole experience was fantastic’
‘Great for bringing people together’
‘Obvious that a good deal of thought and planning had gone into it’
‘Fitness Instructors professional, routines well pitched. Friendly and helpful.’
‘Good pace for classes, not patronising’
‘Fitness Team very impressive – very helpful!’
Whilst Ballroom Blitz, which includes influences from a number of the styles featured on the hit television show, proved to be the most popular class, the rather risque Chair Dance and spooky, Michael Jackson inspired Thriller, were also great hits. The timetable was somewhat hectic and a number of participants said they were feeling the pace…..although that’s always a lot easier to handle when you can spend time in the various relaxing heat rooms within our Thermal Spa in order to let your aches and pains literally float away. Whilst some of the sessions will be moth-balled for future events, a number will soon find their way onto our regular timetable, so look out for our exciting new dance classes on your next visit.
Comments Dean Hodgkin, Ragdale Hall’s Fitness Expert, ‘We are really keen, here, to help our guests to find new routes to being healthier and slimmer and we recognise that not everyone is turned on by pure fitness pursuits. We did our research, really tried to understand the many ways in which employing different genres of music can help to accelerate your results and then we designed the classes with this in mind. Rather than just being gimmicky, then, our dance themed classes left everyone with a smile on their faces as not only did they have a lot of fun but they knew they were taking a step closer to their goals.’
No sooner had the Fitness Team taken off their leg-warmers than already they were working on new ideas for the next event, which promises to be even better than our last. Obviously, with routines carefully I can’t give away too much at this stage, suffice it to say that a number of Broadway, West End and Hollywood award winning delights are already on their way to our studio, just for you. Promising different levels of choreography and intensity, there’s sure to be something for everyone, so why not join us to put the fun factor into fitness.
Diary dates for our next dance events: 15th – 18th September and 24th – 27th November
