What is Pilates?
Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility and long, lean muscles, strength and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing to relieve stress and allow adequate oxygen flow to muscles, developing a strong core and improving coordination and balance. No muscle group is under or over trained. It enhances core strength and brings increased reach, flexibility, sure-footedness and agility.
What is Yoga?
The whole system of Yoga is built on three main structures: exercise, breathing, and meditation. The exercises of Yoga are designed to put pressure on the glandular systems of the body and so increasing its efficiency and total health. Regular daily practice of all three parts of this structure of Yoga produce a clear, bright mind and a strong, capable body.
