A great summer at an award-winning spa!

Despite our ‘summer’ being a bit of a wash out so far, the first few weeks of the summer have been fantastic here at Ragdale.

We are delighted to announce we have retained our place in the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame and won Best Day Spa in the Muddy Stilettos Awards!

TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame is given to organisations who have consistently received a Certificate of Excellence. We were among the first to gain a place in the Hall of Fame when it began in 2015. The first spots were only given to organisations who received a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years. As we have also managed to achieve a Certificate of Excellence every year since, this means we have now been part of the Hall of Fame for the fourth year running. To receive this honour is a huge achievement for our staff who put providing impeccable customer service at the forefront of everything they do.

We are also very pleased to have won ‘Best Day Spa’ in the 2019 Leicestershire/Rutland Muddy Stilettos Awards, making it the second time we have won in this category. Muddy Stilettos is a regional blog that celebrates and supports unique and local businesses and dubs itself as the ultimate ‘urban guide to the countryside’.

Without you, our guests, taking the time to leave us lovely reviews and voting for us, these achievements wouldn’t be possible so from all the team at Ragdale Hall Spa… THANK YOU!

Thank you for yet again for another pleasurable visit, not just the staff you see when you check in, dinning room staff, beauticians fitness staff etc but all the staff working hard behind the scenes, chefs, housekeeping maintenance etc, that all allow me to give me the permission to switch off and allow me to have some ME time in such welcoming, happy, pleasurable, comfortable place, it’s great to see you evolving over the years, but please don’t change the niche you have, looking forward to my next visit.

Congratulations, Ragdale Hall Spa! Absolutely well-deserved awards & recognition, as far as my own past experiences go. =D

I’m _long overdue_ a revisit to Ragdale Hall, especially since the rooftop infinity pool (jacuzzi?!?) was built, so hopefully will be making a revisit sometime possibly in 2020 (as this summer’s all booked out!).

My ultimate favourite of Ragdale’s pools is the CANDLE POOL — after a gym session, a little jacuzzi time, and a few feel-good indoor-pool “laps”, nothing in the world beats hitting the Candle Pool to lay back in an ‘underground’ nook and relax to the calming music and colour-cycling lights (with “stars” overhead!) — it is ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL. <3 (A great way to pass the time while a partner is finishing up a treatment, too!)

The VOLANIC SALT BATH room makes for a great (v humid!) alternative to the excellent Sauna, and was my preferred stop, after some time in the THERMAL SPA OUTDOOR (WATERFALL) POOL. (..and still I'd go down to the Candle Pool afterward!)

I'd like to emphasise to the GUYS out there that Ragdale Hall is a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE FOR MEN as well as women — with the wide range of facilities, incl a well-equipped GYM, and some great MASSAGE & TREATMENT options, it was no surprise to see many COUPLES there, and even the occasional unaccompanied(?!) man…

I was there last with my then-gf.. It would be great to bring a new lady there.. but if I'm not with a good woman next summer, I may well come up to Ragdale Spa on my own. (Maybe I should, anyway, and "treat myself" if single around my late-Oct. b'day..!?) So much to look forward to, incl an EXCELLENT BUFFET w succulent cuts of ROAST MEATS, next to other wholesome, healthy, and entirely delectable selections.

It's been a few years, so I'd guess that the ol' cat (whose name I've forgotten, sorry) may well have "crossed the Rainbow Bridge" by now..? I remember there being a "favourite chair", lovingly labelled as 'reserved' for cat naps… <3

Have been coming to Ragdale for over 13 years. The best spa ever and I have been to quite a number of spas over the years.

As soon as i enter Ragdale I feel less stressed.

I like that it is a family run business and they are always updating Ragdale. Treatments are amazing, love the food and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of varied classes on offer

. In September will be my third visit this year and it never disappoints.
