A Warm Welcome...

First impressions count and our Front of House Team, including Receptionists, Guest Liaison and Porters, excel in delivering the highest levels of customer service. Together they are responsible for ensuring a smooth arrival and departure for our guests and are a source of information throughout their stay. An outgoing, confident and friendly personality and a passion for people is essential to be part of the Team.

Reception/Guest Liaison

Our Receptionists are responsible for making sure our guests start their relaxation as soon as possible. They check our guests in over a drink in our gorgeous Garden Room Bar and put them at ease making sure their stay with us gets off to the best possible start. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg, as there are numerous analytical and administrative duties to undertake as well as dealing with any queries and requests.

There are opportunities to join the Reception Team at all levels from Trainee upwards. Full training will be given and there is structured career progression. Many Receptionists have gone on to work within Guest Liaison or Duty Management.

Porters

Porters at Ragdale don’t just carry bags … They are an integral part of the Front of House Team working alongside Reception and Guest Liaison and are the first point of contact for all guests as they arrive at the Hall. Behind the scenes they offer tremendous support to all departments in numerous ways and help maintain the safety of the building. No two days are ever the same.
