PLANNING YOUR VISIT

We hope that the following information will assist you in planning your spa break at Ragdale Hall. However, if you have any questions at all please call our enquiries line on 01664 434831 and we will be delighted to assist you.

HOW TO BOOK

Once you have chosen a package and some preferred dates please telephone Reservations (9am until 8pm weekdays, 9.30am until 5.30pm weekends) on 01664 433000 for Residential Bookings and 01664 433033 for Day Bookings to check availability or alternatively use the Availability Check Form whilst you're online.  Once date, room type and package have been agreed, you will then be asked to confirm your booking within 7 days.

All prices where applicable, are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.  We reserve the right to amend prices where there is a change in VAT or any other tax applicable to your visit.

DEPOSIT AND CONFIRMATION

All bookings must be secured with a deposit. Confirmation of your booking along with additional pre-arrival information and directions to Ragdale Hall will be sent upon receipt of the required deposit.

Residential stays of 1 to 4 nights require a deposit of £100 per person, stays of 5 to 6 nights require a deposit of £200 per person and stays of 7 nights or more require a deposit of 50% of the total inclusive cost of the stay.  Overseas and third party reservations require a deposit of 100% of the total inclusive cost of the stay.  Reservations made within one month of the arrival date must be secured with a credit card deposit at the time of booking.  In the event of an unsecured reservation the full price of the inclusive cost of the stay will be payable on arrival.

All Day Guest bookings require full pre-payment as deposit.

Deposit payments can be made by cheque (minimum one months notice), Maestro, Mastercard, Visa or Ragdale Hall Gift Voucher (for further information on Ragdale Hall Gift Vouchers please call 01664 434831.

INSURANCE

We strongly recommend you consider purchasing holiday insurance which amongst other things provides cover in the event of a cancellation or curtailment.  If you wish to purchase insurance you can contact the following company; Guest First, telephone 0845 9080101 or visit Guest First.

ARRIVAL

For spa breaks, arrival times are allocated between 3.00pm and 4.00pm. Arrival is not permitted before 3.00pm. Your exact arrival time will be indicated on your confirmation letter. Please allow time for registration and to settle into your room as treatments may commence at 4.30pm.

On most Spa Day packages guests should arrive between 8.30am and 9.00am, however guests on the Ragdale Experience Day should arrive at 10.30am, Late Escape at 11.00am and Twilight Taster at 4.30pm. 

DEPARTURE 

On spa breaks, lunch is included on the day of departure. You will be required to vacate your room by 11.00am so it may be prepared for arriving guests. Changing room facilities and lockers are available until departure at 2.00pm.  The Overnight Reviver Break departure is 6.00pm.  On most Spa Day packages guests should depart between 5.30pm and 6.00pm, however on the Ragdale Experience Day departure is at 6.30pm, Late Escape is 8.30pm and Twilight Taster is 9.30pm.

HEALTH AND DISABILITY ADVICE

Ragdale Hall is not a medical centre and our staff are not trained medical practitioners. If you have had, or are suffering from, ill health, severe allergies or a particular medical condition, we strongly advise you to speak with your doctor prior to arrival to satisfy yourself that you can make full use of all our services and facilities. In some instances we may require written confirmation from your doctor.

Should you have a disability or require convalescence we require you to contact us to discuss your needs prior to making a reservation. We regret we cannot provide nursing care and nor are we able to offer full-time individual attention.

TREATMENTS

We offer a full range of face and body treatments from the major skincare companies: Clarins, Decleor, Elemis, SpaFind and Li'Tya, plus a wide array of traditional treatments, natural therapies and some treatments exclusively available at Ragdale Hall.  Click here to view our full range treatments and activities online. 

To book extra treatments, check suitability of treatments or to receive advice on your choices please phone our Treatments Advice Line directly on 01664 433043 (fax: 01664 433044). The office is open from 9.00am - 7.00pm Monday to Friday and from 9.00am - 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday. Treatment requests or queries can also be e-mailed to treatments@ragdalehall.co.uk. You may also request treatments online via our Treatments Request Form.

To avoid disappointment, inclusive choices and extra treatments and activities must be pre-booked at least 14 days in advance of your arrival and will be confirmed on your arrival. We regret we are unable to confirm receipt of treatment bookings.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Whatever the reason for your visit you need not pack a large suitcase; we cultivate an atmosphere of relaxed informality and guests tend to wear tracksuits, robes and informal leisurewear at all times. Robes are available for hire at a charge of £3.50.

Whilst smokers are most welcome, we must inform you that smoking is only permitted in the Smokers Gazebo which is located outside adjacent to the Verandah Terrace. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all other areas of the Hall including bedrooms and balconies.

The use of mobile phones and laptops is restricted to bedrooms only.

The minimum guest age is 16. To maintain the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere we respectfully request that you do not bring young children with you when you arrive or depart. We are unable to allow pets on the premises.

All prices shown are per person (unless otherwise stated) and inclusive of VAT.  Prices and packages may be subject to alteration.  Whilst our services, facilities, treatments and packages are normally available to you 365 days a year, they may be subject to change or withdrawal without prior notice.  

BOOKING CONDITIONS

The information contained within all our pre-booking and confirmation literature forms the basis of our terms and conditions of booking.  All bookings are subject to Terms and Conditions.
