Local Roadworks coming from Melton Mowbray (A6006)

If you are arriving at the Hall on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March please be aware of a local road closure that may affect your journey.

The junction of the A6006 and B676 ( Shoby crossroads) will be closed in all directions. If you travel from Loughborough your journey will not be affected.

If you are travelling from Melton Mowbray, you will need to follow a diversion route, as follows:

Leave Melton Mowbray on the Leicester A607 road and follow the A607 right through past Rearsby to the island at Queniborough / Syston. Turn right at this island continuing along the A607 to the next island where you turn right and pick up the A46 northbound.

Continue along the A46, into the roadworks. Unfortunately due to A46 roadworks, you will not be able to exit at Six Hills for Ragdale Hall and will need to continue past Six Hills to the next junction. Leave at the A6006 Willoughby exit, go under the A46 and turn right to re-join it southbound back to Six Hills.

Local Roadworks coming from East Midlands Airport/Rempstone (A6006)

If you are travelling from East Midlands Airport/Rempstone on the A6006 you will need to turn right onto the A46 southbound and follow for one junction leaving at the B676 Six Hills exit. Follow the B676 towards Melton Mowbray and the Hall is on your right.

A46 Junction Closure

Please be aware that there are long term roadworks on the A46. If you are travelling on the A46 from the south (Leicester/M1) you will not be able to exit at the B676 Six Hills junction for the Hall. Please continue to the next junction - signed A6006, Willoughby, exit here, go under the A46 and turn right to immediately re-join it southbound. Follow for one junction and exit at the B676 Six Hills junction. Follow the B676 towards Melton Mowbray and the turning for Ragdale Hall is on your right.

From the North:

M1: Exit Junction 24 taking the A6 towards Loughborough. Approximately 3 miles later turn left onto the A6006 towards Rempstone and Melton Mowbray. Stay on this road, crossing under the A46 turning right at the B676 crossroads towards Loughborough. Turn left towards Ragdale Village about 1/2 a mile from the crossroads and Ragdale Hall is signposted on the right hand side.

Distance from M1 approximately 17 miles

A1: Exit south of Newark-on-Trent taking the A46 south towards Leicester. After about 25 miles exit the A46 at Six Hills taking the B676 towards Melton Mowbray. Turn right towards Ragdale Village about 1/2 a mile from this junction and Ragdale Hall is signposted on the right hand side.

Distance from A1 approximately 26 miles

From the South:

M1: Exit at Junction 21a onto the A46 towards Leicester North and Newark. Turn left at the first roundabout (approx. 7 miles) towards Newark. Exit the A46 at Six Hills taking the B676 towards Melton Mowbray. Turn left towards Ragdale Village about ½ mile from this junction and Ragdale Hall is signposted on the right hand side.

Distance from M1 approximately 15 miles

A1: Exit just north of Stamford, taking the A606 towards Oakham and Melton Mowbray. As you go through Melton Mowbray, take the left turn onto the A6006 towards Loughborough. Stay on this road for several miles, bypassing Asfordby Village. Turn left at the B676 crossroads towards Loughborough. Turn left towards Ragdale Village about 1/2 mile from the crossroads and Ragdale Hall is signposted on the right hand side.
