We’re often posting to share the latest news about new developments and innovations in Ragdale’s fitness area, so we’re delighted to have been declared one of Women’s Health magazine’s Five Best Fitness Retreats!
It’s fair to say the Women’s Health team know their onions, as they’re one of the UK’s leading health and fitness magazines, writing specifically for women.
They recently visited Ragdale, testing out our fitness classes and gym, and finding out more about what goes into putting the variety of fitness sessions together – including our staff training from some of the fitness industry’s top trainers and ongoing updating by our own highly regarded Fitness Consultant, Dean Hodgkin.
So we are really, really pleased they’ve featured Ragdale as one of the UK’s Five Best Fitness Retreats – and the only ‘country retreat’ – in the latest issue of the magazine, and said: ‘Fitness fans of all levels are spoilt for choice thanks to the retreat’s [Ragdale’s] first-class facilities.’
Despite being fitness-holics, rest assured the WH ladies like a bit of pampering as much as the rest of us, and they did make time for relaxation and treatments, which also hit the spot as they said: ‘The 85-minute Decleor Aromatic Massage… leaves normally desk hunched shoulders miraculously loose.’
They also highlighted breakfast in bed as ‘the ultimate treat’ and made several references to the benefits of a ‘cheeky’ glass of wine – and we second that!
