"I have just returned from a most enjoyable visit with my two sisters. It is a number of years since my last visit and I was really impressed with the changes. In particular the Thermal Spa was wonderful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the food was amazing. The treatments were also wonderful, I can honestly say your therapists are the best I have experienced and indeed all the staff are extremely professional and appear to genuinely want everyone to have an amazing experience. "Late Escape - My mum, two daughters and I had a lovely time - again!  We would recommend this day as it is so relaxing not to have to arrive early and to then end the day with a relaxing meal. We all felt very relaxed after our treatments. My first experience of Reflexology with Sandra was amazing. "Prior to my visit I was contacted to discuss a treatment I had booked, this was a second choice as my preferred treatment was unavailable, but there had been a cancellation so my schedule was changed so I could have the preferred treatment.  You could not have been more helpful in booking the treatments for myself and my daughter, our treatments were timed together so we could enjoy as much time together as possible.

As soon as you walk through the door a sense of calm envelops you. The treatments as ever are a delight, the staff attentive, the spa and pool area is a real treat and the excercise classes well instructed.  In a word EXCELLENT, Ragdale just gets better." Susan Martin

"This was my third trip to Ragdale and as usual I had a wonderful day. My day included three treatments. The only slight problem was that when I turned up for my second treatment (a 50 minute facial), I had not been scheduled a therapist.  However the receptionist was extremely apologetic and helpful and spent several minutes trying to rectify the situation, eventually finding a therapist and a spare room. By this time there was only time for a 25 minute facial, but she arranged for me to have an extra treatment at the end of the day. I was extremely impressed with how she handled the situation, and how professional both her and the therapist were.

I have always been impressed by how friendly and helpful all the staff are at Ragdale and the facilities are superb. I am amazed at the professionalism of your staff, who enable everything to run so smoothly and to such a high standard. "My husband and I stayed on an Overnight Reviver and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have visited before and it has improved each visit. The bedrooms are brighter and more inviting. The beds seem more comfortable and cleanliness is better, not that it needed to improve, everything smelt fresh. Food was excellent as always. Customer service outstanding. Staff are exceptionally helpful. We did have a problem during our stay but it was resolved very quickly and efficiently with an apology as well. "My husband became curious about mine and my friend's visit to Ragdale so I offered to treat him to a stay for his birthday. He was reluctant thinking of it as being 'girlie'. I suggested he keep an open mind and think of it as a luxury hotel. He went, apprehensively. Needless to say he booked again before we left and after enjoying his second stay has rebooked before we left and included an extra night. "As ever we had a wonderful break.  The staff at Ragdale cannot be beaten.  Nothing is too much trouble and in most cases everyting has been thought of so we don't need to.

We stayed again in the Tower room which we love.  The only thing that could improve the room would be to have hooks on the door or nearby to hang up dressing gowns.  Will be back again next year!"  Andrea Patman

"Stayed on the Strictly Come Dancersize event. My friend and I are regular guests at Ragdale and as we both like the dance classes as a fun form of exercise. we decided to opt for this package - and we were definately NOT disappointed!  The mixture of dances and the innovative way in which the instructors had devised the routines was excellent - I especially liked the Zumba (as I already do this locally at home), Singing in the Rain, and the Cha Cha and Salsa (Ballroom Blitz). My least favourite was the Belly Dancing, although appreciate that it is good to include it, so aiming at different tastes within the group. The schedule was well spaced out, thus allowing plenty time for attending other scheduled events, not forgetting any treatments and of course relaxation! I would certainly attend the same event again if you decide to hold one, if it fitted in with when I can visit you again. My intention is to revisit (we have been trying to make it an annual event so far), so I look forward to whenever that may be...............! I should also like to add that every time I have visitied you, the service, food, friendliness and professionalism of the staff has always impressed me, and always feel so welcome, it is like a second home! Needn't have worried - she loved it just as much as I do and the first question when we left was "when are we going back?"
